The Maestros Summer Conducting Workshop is designed for anyone in the field of conducting looking to improve or refresh their mastery of the baton.  College students, middle and high school band directors, military personnel and anyone in this field is welcomed. This three day workshop gives you an opportunity to work on your conducting, rehearsal techniques and repertoire study in an encouraging environment.  Discussions will include the use of the baton as a "teaching tool" as well as the artistry of conducting.  All participants will play in the ensemble and those who want to conduct can select from the chosen repertoire and receive constructive comments from the conducting staff.
